The responsibility of the individual in their wellness will be enhanced through:
- Education: An awareness and information base concerning health care problems, issues, and preventative measures.
- Prevention: programs that will enable community members to identify early stages of health care problems and take steps toward prevention.
- Health care Maintenance: Periodic and timely assessment of individual’s health status on individual needs.
- Intervention: Appropriate, competent and timely treatment of acute health problems.

If you are in need of medication on weekends and evenings, it is best to call the nurse hotline. If needed, they will contact the doctor on-call. Note that narcotic pain medicines or other high-risk medications are not called in on weekends or evenings.
